A downloadable project

Working Late is a short interactive demo created for a university project. The goal of the project was to design and create a 3D modelled door with appropriate interactions, animations, sound effects, and context. My choice was to produce a revolving door set in an office building environment, with sound effects being used to suggest details not visually depicted, such as a surrounding city.

CONTROLS

  • W, A, S, and D to move,
  • Mouse to look around
  • Press Esc to exit the demo at any time

The revolving door asset was created using 3DS Max (2017), while others we modified from base Unity 3D objects. Interactive elements and animations were made in Unity (2018.1.6f1). Sound effects were edited using Audacity (2.3.0).

Textures and sound effects were sourced from third-parties. A full list of sources is included in the zip archive.

Install instructions

Unzip the Working Late.zip file and run the Working Late.exe file inside the extracted folder.

I actually thought this was going to be at least a 3 min demo or something but it turned out that this was a really short demo but i still like it because still i couldn't make something like this either. Props to you i guess!
